Historic & Cultural City Tour in Rosario
City walking tour through the old part of the city of Rosario, guided by Gonzalo Pablo Iraolagoitia, Licenciate of History, in English, Spanish and French.
A great way to see Rosario is by walking approximately two hours along the most tourist and important spots in the city: the Flag Memorial, downtown coastline, squares, theaters, parks, pedestrian walks, and emblematic historic buildings of the 19th and 20th century. The buildings portray art decó, Art Nouveau, Neocolonial, Rationalism, Academic-Eclectic and Neo- Baroque architectural styles.
The tour begins at the National Flag Memorial, located on the riverfront overlooking the Paraná river. Then we will visit the Fluvial "Estación Fluvial" from where you will be able to contemplate a spectacular scenic view of the Paraná river, the islands and the Flag Memorial.

The journey continues towards the "Plaza 25 de Mayo" square, where the Cathedral, the Municipality, the Main Post Office Palace and the "La Bola de Nieve" building stand.

At the square begins the pedestrian-only section of "Peatonal Córdoba", one of the most important streets in Rosario and the main shopping area full of stores, malls, shops, banks and bars.
The pedestrian walk, located in the heart of the commercial and financial center of the city, offers not only stores and street shows but also buildings of great value that are part of the historic and architectural heritage of the city.
Among the historic building it’s worth mentioning the "Palacio Cabanellas" palace, the "Teatro El Círculo" theater, the "Bolsa de Comercio" commodities exchange building, the "Palacio Fuentes" and "Palacio Minetti" palaces. On this tour we will also walk by the building where Che Guevara was born and Che’s Square.
The tour ends in Park of Spain, on the banks of the Paraná river, from where you will be able to contemplate the stunning Rosario-Victoria bridge. This riverside park offers bars, restaurants and a spacious green area to lay down in the open-air and try the typical Argentine drink "mate".
