The adventure begins coasting up the river approaching the Rosario-Victoria Bridge. We cross the river by the ox drove and continue paddling by ’the curve’, entering the ’Paraná Viejo’, leaving behind the Rosario-Victoria Bridge.
Islands, creeks, canals and lakes are home to a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna unique in the country. Willow and alder forests make this lush vegetation habitat for native birds such as biguá (black cormorant), capybaras, among others. As a good kayaker tradition, we descend on the island and collect wood to make delicious mates.
We begin the evening return downstream, with the proximity of the Rosario-Victoria Bridge and beaches bathed in the wonderful sunset colors.
