La Cacatúa Lodge is a new Bed & Breakfast in Uvita de Osa, on the south Pacific beaches of Costa Rica.
The bungalows offer a cozy atmosphere with local handcrafted furniture and wonderful mountain view. The hotel is located in a jungle setting, near the Marino Ballena National Park, gorgeous beaches, restaurants, bars, internet cafes, banks and supermarkets.
The lodge consists of three bungalows houses set in a tropical garden with four spacious rooms. The rooms are 150 meters above sea level with sliding glass doors to the garden. Enjoy the panoramic mountain view from the swimming pool, jacuzzi or bar with a drink and tapas.
They are all equipped with private bathroom, fans, air conditioning, fridge, and coffee maker to drink delicious coffee or tea while watching the sunrise. Two of the studios are equipped with kitchens. Each room has a Queen-size bed or 2 twin beds with orthopedic mattresses.
There are over 100 different species of birds in the tropical garden. Toucans, trogons, hummingbirds, butterflies and animals such as sloths, iguanas, anteaters and monkeys to name a few.
The area is perfect for bird watching, hiking, horseback riding, diving, snorkeling, ultra light flying, canopy, rafting, hiking, or just relaxing in our hammocks, jacuzzi or at the beach.
