Puerto Nuevo is a beach and tropical rainforest touristic destination on the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica. Its narrow and winding pavement road is relatively new, which offers an incredible view of the sea, mountains and vegetation.
It is an area that hasn’t been exploited yet, with marvelous places and magnificent twist and turns to discover. Playa Hermosa is one of the beaches from Puerto Nuevo, famous for its incredible beauty, its miles of beach perfect for strolling of jogging, its gigantic waves to surf, and a lush forest to camp or rest on the shadow. You will find it isolated during the week where you will have the privilege to enjoy its tranquility and astonishing beauty all for yourself, while on weekend it gets crowded with residents and foreigners who come with their vehicles.
Playa Hermosa is in front of isla de Caño, famous for its amazing caves in the middle of the ocean. Only 5 minutes south of Dominical, and 4 minutes from Uvita, its a place close to everything and, at the same time, far away from all the hustle and bustle of the city, just surrounded by nature.
