The ranch is very well located, half way between León city and Poneloya beach, at exactly 9 km to one another.
It’s a house with open corridors surrounded by trees and scenic views of the Maribios range.
Horseback riding tours with panoramic view
Horseback riding is available from 2 hours to two day tours on the beach and in tropical forest trails. Our horseback riding, ecotourism and cultural community tour includes drinks, snacks and grill.
In our ranch you can also experience cow milking, BBQs, bonfires, wildlife watching, fruit picking of the seasons, cane sowing, and visits to the community for socio-cultural interchange.
As a gratitude for the tour, it is customary to make donations.locals. The horseback riding tours and lodging supports the development of the community and its activities. Rancho Los Alpes donates the materials to fix roads for Elementary Schools, creating a better access for students and locals farmers.
Tours to the beach.
The 2-days tour includes a BBQ, beverages, coconut with rum, camping, bonfire, swimming, and volleyball. You will love camping at 2 Almas Beach!
Tour to the Cerro Negro Volcano and sandboarding
The tour to the Cerro Negro Volcano offers you the chance to see an active volcano, walk around the craters, reach the summit and descend sandboarding its black sands!
There are Twilight Hiking to the Cerro Negro where you can see a 360 degree sunset on top of an active volcano. Be part of this mysterious transition from day to night!
Events
The ranch has a conference room with a capacity for 250 people, ideal for weddings, political reunions, group activities and all kind of events. There is a forest where tours are offered providing information about the environment, so that the endemic species of flora and fauna of the area are known.

How to get there:
From León take a cab or a bus to "El Mercadito de Sutiava". From there take the bus to Poneloya. The Poneloya bus stops every 45 minutes. The trip to Los Alpes takes about 10-20 minutes, depending on the road and traffic conditions. Tell the driver your stop is at Los Alpes. From the bus stop, walk 1 km up the road northwest. Or call Alma to pick you up. We provide transportation.
